Compatibility and Sound Boundaries
Compatibility depends on the complete Mac setup, not just a keyboard name. Test built-in, USB or Bluetooth input after sleep and reconnection, and confirm the selected audio output. Klakk adds audio but does not silence hardware.
Input checklist
Test ordinary typing, modifier keys, shortcuts, large keys, reconnects and wake from sleep. If a hub, dock, KVM or remapping utility is involved, compare with a direct connection.
Audio checklist
Confirm speakers or headphones, keep listening volume comfortable, and verify that generated sound is not routed into a meeting, recording or stream unless that is intentional.
