Official website downloads
The website Mac edition supports macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon and Intel. The Windows edition supports Windows 10 and 11 on ARM64 and x64; one installer chooses the native architecture. There is no 32-bit Windows edition. The download page links the official files and the developer-maintained GitHub mirror.
Preview and try the sounds
The website editions include 14 sound packs and a 3-day trial starting at first launch. The browser preview lets you compare the sounds within that page. Install the app to hear typing sounds in your usual desktop applications.
Purchases and editions
The website Mac and Windows editions each cost US$4.49 once, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout. Each platform requires its own purchase. The Mac App Store edition also has a separate license; confirm its version, regional price and purchase terms in Apple's screen.
What the website app processes
Klakk uses keyboard events to play sounds locally. Typed text and keyboard events are not stored or uploaded. The website editions communicate usage milestones and license information separately, so they should not be described as having no network communication or no analytics.
Performance and physical sound
We have not published a verified end-to-end latency benchmark for the current website editions. Timing depends on the computer and audio path; evaluate it during the trial. Klakk adds played audio and leaves the keyboard's physical sound and feel unchanged.
