Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Klakk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Klakk.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Klakk. By using Klakk, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

License Grant

Klakk is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Klakk for your personal, non-commercial use.

What You Get:

  • Personal use on devices you own or control
  • Lifetime updates for the version you purchased
  • Install on multiple Macs you personally own

Free Trial

Klakk offers a 3-day free trial period with full access to all features. No credit card is required for the trial.

After the trial period ends, you must purchase a license to continue using Klakk. Your data and preferences will be preserved.

Note: The trial is available once per device. Attempting to circumvent this limitation violates these terms.

Purchase & Payment

The current price for Klakk is $4.99 USD (one-time purchase). Prices may vary by region due to local taxes and currency conversion.

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Creem. We do not store your payment information.

This is a one-time purchase. No subscription. No recurring charges. Once purchased, you own your license.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If you've already purchased Klakk, price changes do not affect you.

Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Here's our refund policy:

  • • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • • No questions asked

Note: The 3-day trial is separate from the refund policy. Use the trial to test Klakk before purchasing.

Acceptable Use

You may use Klakk for lawful, personal purposes. Specifically:

  • Personal use on your own devices
  • Use at home, work, or school
  • Enhance your typing experience and productivity

Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Klakk
  • Modify or create derivative works based on Klakk
  • Redistribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense Klakk
  • Remove or circumvent any licensing mechanisms
  • Share your license key with others
  • Use Klakk for commercial purposes without explicit permission

Intellectual Property

Klakk, including all code, design, text, graphics, logos, audio clips, and other content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a license to use Klakk, but does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

The "Klakk" name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

Warranty Disclaimer

KLAKK IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

While we strive to provide a high-quality, bug-free experience, we make no warranties that Klakk will:

  • • Be uninterrupted or error-free
  • • Meet your specific requirements
  • • Be compatible with all hardware/software configurations

Some jurisdictions do not allow warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF KLAKK.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • • Data loss or corruption
  • • Loss of business or profits
  • • Indirect or consequential damages

Our maximum liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for Klakk ($4.99 USD).

Termination

You may stop using Klakk at any time by uninstalling it from your devices.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. In such cases, you must immediately cease using Klakk and delete all copies.

Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or via email (if you've contacted us).

Continued use of Klakk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree with the changes, you must stop using Klakk.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Klakk shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate court in your jurisdiction.
